Chess (ages 4 and up)

We at My Sunshine LOVE Chess! We believe that chess encourages your child to think inventively and see connections at his or her own pace to enrich overall learning and development. This also opens the door for creative intellectual activity. Research has shown that children who play chess regularly have better test scores by up to 17%!

We will work with your child to develop various skills, including:

•     Developing logical thinking skills            

•     Using the imagination and thinking creativity

•     Planning mentally and making decisions

           

Our students also play in various tournaments and competitions. We make sure that the entire process is fun!
